The Kenya Association of Travel Agents has collaborated with Tarra Agility to seek clarification regarding the implementation of an electronic tax invoice management system (e-TIMS) by KRA and its anticipated impact on travel agents' businesses.

The Finance Act 2023 introduces a notable change through a clause in the Tax Procedure Act, mandating compliance with the electronic tax invoice management system (e-TIMS) for non-VAT taxpayers. This system requires taxpayers to issue electronic tax invoices, thereby affecting our operations in multiple ways.

In light of this, we cordially invite you to a webinar aimed at familiarizing you with the application and compliance requirements of eTIMs for travel agents. The session will take place on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am via Zoom, and will be conducted by Paul Mutegi of Tarra Agility.
